Gardaí are questioning a man in Fermoy following the discovery of a large haul of cannabis worth an estimated €750,000 in the Co Cork town.
The drugs were discovered in a van at around 8 p.m. yesterday, and the man, thought to be in his twenties, was arrested.
He is being held at Fermoy garda station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act and can be held for seven days.
