At Balla District Court, Co Mayo yesterday, a man was sent forward for trial to the current sitting of the Central Criminal Court on charges of raping and sexually assaulting a 10 year old girl on February, 13th and 14th 1991 at an address in Ballina. Judge Tom Fitzpatrick remanded the defendant in custody.
