A man who sexually abused his stepson 30 years ago has been jailed for four years by Judge Elizabeth Dunne at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. The offences led to "25 years of torture and torment" for the victim, who was seven years old when they began.
James Delaney (56), Stamer Street, SCR, Dublin, pleaded guilty to three charges of indecent assault committed between 1969 and 1974. Three further charges were taken into account.
