A murder investigation has begun after a man in his 20s was shot dead Dublin's south inner city last night in a gangland-style attack.
The man was shot at Military Road, Kilmainham, Dublin shortly after 12.20 am. The victim is believed to have been a married man.
He was taken to St James's Hospital ,where he was pronounced dead on arrival early this morning.
