Gardai are investigating a shooting in Limerick last night, in which a man in his late twenties or early thirties was shot in a parked car. Witnesses say a silver car pulled up beside the victim at Collins Avenue, Southill, at around 9.30 p.m. and a man fired a number of shots. Limerick Regional Hospital said the man's condition was "critical but stable". Gardai at Roxboro are trying to establish a motive for the shooting and are searching for the silver car.
