A man in his early 40s was recovering in hospital in Cork after being stabbed in the chest by his partner during a domestic dispute early yesterday morning. The man's partner, a woman in her late 30s, was arrested at the couple's home in Mahon under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and brought to the Bridewell Garda Station for questioning.
