A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed and then run over in an overnight attack in Co Antrim.
The 28-year-old victim was stabbed and received severe head injuries in the incident in Dumurry in the early hours.
Around 1am a gang of men and women chased him into Mount Eagles Mews in the Lagmore area before assaulting him.
He was then struck by a dark coloured Vauxhall Vectra car, which drove off.
A car matching that description was found burnt out in the Clonard Court area of west Belfast some time later. Officers are investigating a link.
