A 33-year-old man is recovering in Dublin's Blanchardstown Hospital after he was shot in the leg by a gang of men who burst into his home in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The victim was lying on the couch in the living room of his house on Parslickstown Green in Mulhuddart when around five men forced their way in at 4.35 a.m. Gardai were alerted by telephone and the man was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital where his condition was last night described as "stable".
