A 29-year-old man is still being questioned by gardaí in connection with the murder of career criminal Aidan Byrne, who was shot dead on Saturday night.
Byrne (33) was shot at least eight times as he sat in the passenger seat of a grey Toyota Corolla in Drumalee Avenue, Stoneybatter, Dublin.
The man who was arrested by gardaí is suspected of being the driver of the car. He is being held at the Bridewell Garda station.
