The attack left David Keohane, from Ballyvolane in Cork, in a critical condition after he was viciously assaulted in the Sydney suburb of Coogee Beach on August 9th, 2008. Now 30, he is wheelchair-bound.

New Zealand native Kane Desmond Tupuolamoui (21) was arrested in Darwin on Wednesday and brought before a local court. He was flown to Sydney yesterday ahead of his court appearance. One man is serving a 19-year sentence for robbing and inflicting serious bodily harm on the Cork man.
