Manchester United has been granted a High Court order restricting an ice cream manufacturer from using the official club crest on the wrapper of an iced lollipop.
Mr Justice Philip O'Sullivan also restrained Valley Ice Cream (Ireland) Ltd of Templemore Road, Thurles, Co Tipperary, from associating the club with any of its products.
Mr Pat O'Connell, counsel for the club, said Valley Ice Cream had consented to the order being made.
