Gardaí in Coolock, Dublin, are investigating a shooting in the city last night.
At around 10 p.m., a man (25) was leaving his car with his three-year-old daughter when he was shot at and hit once in the leg by a lone gunman. His daughter was unhurt.
The gunman escaped in a waiting car driven by a second person.
The victim was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. His daughter was treated for shock.
