Annual manufacturing prices rose marginally in July, compared to a decrease of 0.3 per cent in June 2005.
Figures released by the Central Statistics Office showed that manufacturing prices grew by 0.2 per cent, despite a 0.3 per cent fall in factory gate prices.
The index for export sales declined by 0.6 per cent in the month, while the index for home sales rose by 0.6 per cent.
July also saw the price of capital goods grow year on year by 2.7 per cent, with a monthly increase of 0.1 per cent.

In building and construction, material prices increased by 3.9 per cent since July 2004, with a 0.2 per cent increase over June 2005. The price of energy goods has soared since July 2004, with an increase of 16.8 per cent over the year.
