Maradona improving all the time - doctor

Diego Maradona's personal doctor has allayed fears over the Argentinian legend's health.

Diego Maradona's personal doctor has allayed fears over the Argentinian legend's health.

Maradona, in the intensive care unit of a hospital with severe cardiac and pulmonary problems at the end of April, was released but readmitted on Wednesday suffering from what doctors described as a "feeding transgression".

After leaving hospital, the 43-year-old spent six days at a country house with friends, enjoying a barbecue and playing golf before returning to the Suizo Argentina Clinic six days later.

On Thursday, his second day back at the clinic, Maradona's personal physician Alfredo Cahe said: "He was eating too much and the exercise fatigued him.  We'll have Diego for a long while. That's for sure. He's still young, and he's fine."
