Special funeral masses were said in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, as murdered missionary priest Father Malachy Skelton was buried in South Africa.
Father Skelton, who was shot dead by a gang which hijacked his car, was buried after Requiem Mass in the Good Shepherd Church in Hlabisa.
The Dungannon-born priest had worked in KwaZulu-Natal for 40 years. He was due to return home shortly on holiday to his native town, where hundreds turned out yesterday for a concelebrated memorial Mass in St Patrick's Church.
