The Mayor of Limerick will wear his ceremonial robes for the President Clinton's visit tomorrow only if they are sponsored for charity.
Independent councillor Mr Joe Harrington, who normally refuses to wear the robes, said yesterday that Milford Hospice in Limerick was having its major fund-raising day on Sunday and this would be a good cause for people to contribute to. "If people want me to wear the robes, they'll have to pay up for charity."
