Armagh's talismanic forward Oisin McConville is fit to play in the Ulster semi-final against Down on Sunday as he looks to reach yet another final and sign off with a seventh Ulster title.
A back injury kept the Crossmaglen man out of the quarter-final win over Cavan but after showing no ill-effects after training yesterday he expects to start on the bench.
"I came through a training session on Tuesday night with no adverse effects and it's good to be back," McConville said.
"I would imagine I'll be on the bench - even that is something positive after missing the Cavan game."
McConville has also insisted he will retire from the inter-county scene when Armagh's championship challenge is over.
"I think I'd just be annoying myself to go on any longer than this year," he told the Irish Daily Mail. "I can't see my opinion changing. I've enjoyed the football and nobody can say I haven't had a good innings."
McConville has won one All-Ireland championship, six Ulster championships, a national league title and been named an All-Star in both 2000 and 2002.
