Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell has kept his place in the world’s top 50 and will therefore be part of the field for next week’s WGC-CA Championship in Miami.

The Portrush golfer is 49th in the world and one of three Irishmen in the top 50.

The top 10 comprises of six Europeans and the other two Irishmen, Rory McIlroy (ninth) and Pádraig Harrington (10th).

Irish Open winner Shane Lowry is 90th.
