Rugby:Munster coach Tony McGahan has no new injury worries ahead of his first interprovincial test of the season against Leinster at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday. Aside from long-term absentees Felix Jones, Ian Dowling and Denis Fogarty, there's full compliment available to McGahan as his table-topping side look to build on there 100 per cent start with a win over their fiercest rivals.
After training at the Cork Institute of Technology this morning, Denis Leamy is expected to captain the side which will be named towards the end of the week.
The number eight is dismissing suggestions Leinster's form so far will have a bearing on the game. Joe Schmidt's side have lost three of their four games in the new season and lie ninth in the table but Leamy is not about to get complacent.
"I don't believe that what we've done or what they've done will have much influence on Saturday," he said today. "It's whatever each of us bring to the party will decide this one.
"They've quality players right across the field, they've home advantage, and they seem happy enough to move away from the RDS where they've such a good record."
The Ireland international was similarly dismissive of suggestions the weather could affect his team. A wet evening is forecast but Leamy insisted it will be the same for everyone.
"Not at all, whatever the conditions both sides will adapt, it'll be the same for them,” he said in McCarthy's Tennis Village. “Obviously, we'd like a dry sod, I'm sure supporters would too. But it's not as though either ourselves or Leinster are not used to playing in the wet."
Leinster coach Schmidt is waiting on outhalf Jonathan Sexton to prove his fitness before naming his side on Thursday afternoon.
