GAA:Kieran McGeeney has agreed to remain as Kildare senior football manager for another three years after guiding the Lilywhite to this year's All-Ireland semi-final.
“County board Chairman Pádraig Ashe has confirmed that Kieran McGeeney has agreed to a new three-year deal taking him up until the end of the 2013 season,” read a statement on the Kildare website.
“The deal is subject to ratification at the October county board meeting.”
The former Armagh captain brought Kildare to this year’s semi-finals after a successful run through the qualifiers before they lost to Down, who will take on Cork in Sunday’s final.
