The Council for National Cultural Institutions (CNCI) has appointed Mr Declan McGonagle, director of the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), as its chairman for a second successive year.
Mr McGonagle is currently in dispute with the board of IMMA. CNCI is an advisory group on cultural heritage.
