The Minister for Education will face a motion of no confidence in the NI Assembly next Tuesday. The Business Committee met in closed session yesterday to discuss the motion, tabled by the DUP after Mr Martin McGuinness revealed he would tell the Bloody Sunday tribunal that he had been a senior member of the IRA in Derry in 1972.
Although both the SDLP and Sinn Fein voted against the motion being tabled, the majority of the committee, including the Alliance Party voted in its favour.
