World Rankings:Scot Martin Laird is up to 84th in the world after his fourth-placed finish at the PGA Tour's opening event of the season, the SBS Championship in Hawaii.

The event was won for a second year running by Australian Geoff Ogilvy, who returns to the world’s top 10 in ninth spot, just ahead of Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy who dropped one place.

England’s Paul Casey, the only other European in the field, came joint 10th and is just ahead of Ogilvy in the rankings.

Pádraig Harrington is unchanged in sixth place and remains the leading Irishman in the rankings headed up by Tiger Woods with Phil Mickelson still some way off in second.
