The independent investigation into the Navan school bus crash that killed five girls last May is expected to end today.
The teenage girls were killed and 46 other children were injured when the bus overturned as it was taking them home from school in Navan, Co Meath.
The eight-person inquiry team appointed by Bus Éireann in the wake of the accident is holding its final meeting to complete its report.
Some of the issues expected to be examined in the report include the the anti-lock braking system on the school bus, which is believed to have been disabled, and the state of the road between Navan and Kentstown, which was being resurfaced at the time.
Bus Éireann has said the report will be published very shortly.
The inquiry team, which is headed by former assistant Garda commissioner Jim McHugh, had requested more time in August to complete its investigation.
A separate Garda investigation into the accident has been completed and a file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Another investigation by the Health and Safety Authority is still under way.
