A US media firm has opened an office in Dublin with the creation of more than 30 jobs.

A US media firm has opened an office in Dublin with the creation of more than 30 jobs.

EyeWonder, a provider of online video and advertising services, has located its sales and customer support operation in the capital.

Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Micheál Martin said: "Ireland is the location of choice for many of the world's most advanced Internet and digital content companies, and I am confident that EyeWonder will be a valuable contributor to the future direction of Ireland's digital media industry." 

The firm, which has its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, is recruiting its Irish workforce to develop its product with advertisers and agencies.

EyeWonder managing director Barry Bedford said the company chose Dublin due to the availability of skilled personnel coupled with Ireland's business environment and the cluster of technology and media trading companies in the sector.
