The postmortem on the body of the Irish woman who went missing while on pilgrimage in Medjugorje last September has found no precise cause of death could be determined.

The authorities in Bosnia-Herzegovina today issued a death certificate for Winnie Brady (59), whose body was found in a remote spot about three kilometres from her guesthouse by local hunters last Sunday.

Ms Brady's husband, Stephen, yesterday travelled to Bosnia-Herzegovina to formally identify her remains.

He said that Bosnian police had assured him that postmortem results would indicate there was "no sign of foul play" in the death of his wife.
