Two members of the English boyband 5ive have been remanded on bail to appear before the Dublin District Court next month.
Mr Jason Brown and Mr Richard Dobson, who played a concert at The Point last night, appeared at the Dublin District Court yesterday morning after being arrested and charged on Wednesday evening.
The matter related to a fight in a Dublin pub. They spent about two hours in custody at Pearse Street Garda station on Wednesday and were charged and bailed.
Mr Brown was charged with public disorder, committing an assault and breaching the peace. Mr Dobson was charged with public disorder and breaching the peace.
Both were called by Judge William Hamill to the front of the court. The charges against Mr Brown were read out first. The judge said he was remanding him on continuing bail until January 10th, 2001. He said he was similarly remanding Mr Dobson on continuing bail until the same date.
