Two men who were interrupted by gardai while robbing a petrol station have been jailed at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Allen Foley (20), from McCarthy Terrace and Paul Cullen (22) from Fatima Mansions, both Rialto, were in the midst of robbing the Esso Service Station, Rochestown Avenue, Dun Laoghaire, on December 9th, 2000, when two gardai passing by noticed "something amiss" in the shop.
Judge Patrick McCartan sentenced Foley to four years imprisonment and Cullen to three.
