Methodist President on Dublin visit

The President of the Methodist Church, the Rev David Kerr, will visit congregations in Dublin and Wicklow this weekend.

The President of the Methodist Church, the Rev David Kerr, will visit congregations in Dublin and Wicklow this weekend.

On Sunday he will preach at the annual covenant service at Christ Church, Leeson Park, in Dublin. The service will be broadcast on RTE radio.

Later he will preach at the Dublin District service in Dundrum.

On Monday he will be received at the Mansion House by the Lord Mayor, Mr Joe Doyle, while on Tuesday he will visit Dun Laoghaire, Bray, and Wicklow.

On this mid-term visit Mr Kerr will be accompanied by his wife Eileen and the Rev Tom Kingston, chairman of the Dublin District.
