A weather buoy which went missing from the Irish coast last month was found on a beach in Devon, England, yesterday. The M3 weather buoy came adrift on the southwest coast in severe weather on December 10th.
On Monday, its signal was received from Woolacombe beach, the Marine Institute said. It is part of a network of five buoys which measure meteorological data.
A technician was travelling from Galway to assess the damage.
