The former chairman of the multi-party talks in Northern Ireland, Senator George Mitchell, will be presented today with a Waterford Crystal sculpture of a dove on behalf of victims of violence arising from the Northern conflict.
The presentation will be made by Sir Kenneth Bloomfield and Victims' Commissioner and former Tanaiste, Mr John Wilson, in the Slieve Russell Hotel in Ballyconnell, Co Cavan. The gift is sponsored by the family of a victim of the troubles who wishes to remain anonymous.
