Juan Pablo Montoya believes consistency is the key if Williams are to end Ferrari's domination of Formula One.
Ferrari star Michael Schumacher has won all three races so far this season at a canter, leading many to assume he is virtually certain of a seventh world drivers' championship.
Montoya is one of his chief rivals but lags 18 points behind in the championship.
However, with 15 races remaining the Colombian is trying to remain upbeat and has targeted consistency as Williams' main short-coming.
"It's a long championship. We'll see. But we need to do something to catch the red cars," he said.
"The biggest problem is that Ferrari is very consistent, and they have a very good race pace, which we can't match yet. In qualifying, over one lap, we are close."
