Dozens of petrol bombs have been thrown at Police Service of Northern Ireland offices in Derry during a night of disturbances ahead of an Apprentice Boys march.
Two stolen cars, one of which was hijacked, were burnt out at "free Derry Corner" in the Bogside.
The violence came ahead of a march by 10,000 members of the Apprentice Boys and 130 bands in Derry today.
More than 50 petrol bombs were thrown at police over a period of hours late last night and early this morning, the PSNI said, adding that it appeared the violence had been planned.
