President Bush will meet King Mohammed VI of Morocco on April 23rd at the White House, spokesman Mr Ari Fleischer has announced.
The visit follows Mr Powell's meeting with the king on Monday in Casablanca where, reflecting Arab anger, he asked the Secretary of State why he had not begun his Middle East tour in Jerusalem.
"The President looks forward to the opportunity to review regional and bilateral issues with the king of Morocco, who has played a constructive role in the search for Middle East peace and has been a staunch ally in the international fight against terrorism," Mr Fleischer said. - (Reuters)
