Moscow Flyer delighted trainer Jessica Harrington as he led a group of her Cheltenham hopefuls in a schooling session today.
Favourite to regain his crown in the Queen Mother Champion Chase a week tomorrow, the 11-year-old jumped three fences at Harrington's Co Kildare base in the hands of his regular pilot Barry Geraghty.
"Everything was grand. He jumped fine and Barry also schooled Colca Canyon, Ulaan Baatar and Macs Joy," said the trainer. "Moscow will go to the Curragh tomorrow for a breeze up."
Moscow Flyer is a general price of 7-4 to make amends for unseating Geraghty at the fourth-last fence 12 months ago and reclaim the two-mile title he captured in 2003. He has yet to be beaten in 17 completed starts over fences.
Macs Joy can be backed at 9-1 for the Smurfit Champion Hurdle to follow up his win in the Irish equivalent, while Ulaan Baatar is a best-priced 14-1 for the Irish Independent Arkle Trophy following his win in the Irish version.
Colca Canyon, who holds an entry in the Mildmay of Flete Handicap Chase, has not raced since being pulled up in the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham in November.
