London - A mother failed in her Court of Appeal bid for a formal declaration to prevent doctors unilaterally refusing her profoundly disabled child potentially life-saving treatment.
But Ms Carol Glass later claimed victory after Lord Woolf, Master of the Rolls, made it clear that medical staff should fully consult parents on the treatment of children in life-or-death cases.
