A mother is believed to have drowned after managing to save her three young children from a swollen river in Peru.
Ms Bridget Riedl-Laing (26) from Edinburgh, Scotland, had been on an adventure holiday with her family.
On Wednesday, Ms Reidl-Laing and her three children were thrown into the swollen Vilcanota river in Peru from an inflatable canoe.
Her Austrian husband Rupert, who had been following the canoe's progress by road, called for help but was unable to summon assistance.
