A man in his 40s has died following a road traffic collision in Co Meath this morning.
The man died when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a barrier near Junction 7 of the M3 shortly after 6am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The slip road at Junction 7 southbound has reopened following a forensic examination.

Yesterday another motorcyclist was killed following a collision with a car in Co Cork.
According to gardaí, the man, in his 40s, was involved in an incident at about 1.30pm at Upper Glanmire. He was taken to the Mercy University Hospital in Cork but was pronounced dead.
The occupants of the car were uninjured.
