Motorcyclist dies in rush-hour crash on N11

A man died in rush-hour traffic this morning when his motorcycle collided with a van in Co Wicklow.

A man died in rush-hour traffic this morning when his motorcycle collided with a van in Co Wicklow.

The victim was taken to Loughlinstown hospital where he died some hours later. Gardai later named him as Niall Kelly (42) from Bray. The driver of the van was uninjured.

The incident happened at Kilcroney Cross on the N11 heading into Dublin at 7.45 a.m. The road is one of the State's most dangerous.
