Driving conditions are "treacherous" in many parts of the country due to the cold, frosty weather today, AA Roadwatch warned tonight.
The motoring body urged motorists to drive with extra care, especially on high ground or exposed roads.
Meanwhile, all routes to Dublin will be busy tomorrow for the Ireland v Italy Six Nations match in Croke Park at 2pm.
Irish Rail advised customers traveling from Cork, Kerry and Limerick to Dublin on Saturday morning that all trains are now booked out except the 5.15am Cork-Dublin and the 6.35am Limerick-Dublin trains.
Intending rail customers who have not booked in advance are advised to make alternative arrangements, Iarnród Éireann said.
In the Allianz Football League, tomorrow's planned match between Meath and Cork at Páirc Tailteann in Navan has been cancelled. It has not been decided whether the match is to be postponed or abandoned altogether.
Donegal play Kerry in the Allianz league in Ballybofey tomorrow at 7pm, while the Dublin Westmeath match kicks off at Parnell Park in Dublin at the same time.
There will also be racing at Fairyhouse tomorrow, with the first race off at 1.20pm and the last at 4.40pm.
