Racing: Willie Mullins reached a landmark 100 National Hunt winners in a season for the first time when Equus Maximus scored at Limerick this evening.

The eight-year-old was recording his first triumph since his impressive debut bumper victory over two years ago as he took the Free Beer Play After Racing Maiden Hurdle.

Ruby Walsh gave him a positive ride, leading from the off, and the 11-8 shot jumped the second-last with a healthy eight-length advantage. He was kept up to his work to beat The Level by seven lengths.

Mullins and Walsh doubled up when Emma Jane (6-4) was not hard pressed to take the two-and-a-half-mile Spin Southwest Student Raceday Mares Beginners Chase.

Walsh, riding his 125th winner of the season, pushed the eight-year-old into the lead rounding the home turn and she stayed on well to keep Ring Street Roller at bay by two and a half lengths.

Oscar Time (11-4) was a ready winner of the two-mile-five-furlong Free Entrance To The Sin Bin Hurdle for trainer Martin Lynch.

The seven-year-old was always handily placed and jumped ahead at the second-last before going clear to score by five-and-a-half lengths.

He had the race sewn up even before runner-up Prudent Honour clattered the last, with Paul Carberry performing a minor miracle to stay aboard.
