A man accused of murdering three women following the discovery of dismembered body parts in a London wastebin has appeared in court.
Anthony John Hardy, 51, of Camden, north London was remanded in custody for a week today by Hendon magistrates.
He is charged with killing Sally Rose White, 31; Elizabeth Selina Valad, 29 and 36-year-old Bridgette Cathy MacClennan.
Court officials said Hardy spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
The dismembered remains of Valad and MacClennan were discovered in a rubbish bin outside a Camden pub by a homeless man last Monday.
Valad was identified by her breast implants, police said on Saturday, but her head and hands are still missing.
MacClennan was only formally named today.
White died in January last year at an address in the same street in which Hardy lived - Royal College Street.
At the time a post mortem examination showed that she died of a heart attack, but significant new evidence led to the murder charge, according to Scotland Yard.
Hardy, a father of four, was arrested on January 2nd in central London.
