Munster to meet Gloucester in Heineken Cup

The clubs had two epic battles last season with Munster coming out on top after winning the crucial match at Thomond Park to progress to the quarter-finals. Also in Pool 5 are Bourgoin and Treviso.

Leinster will look to build on their semi-final exit to Perpignan and have been drawn in Group 3 alongside Biarritz, Sale and Cardiff regional team.

Heineken Cup holders Toulouse will be in either Pool 1 or 2, depending on whether they finish as winners or runners-up in their domestic championship.

Ulster are drawn in Pool 1 alongside Leicester, either Stade Francais or Toulouse and the merged Ebbw Vale and Newport regional side.

Former Ireland manager Warren Gatland has avoided a group stage clash with an Irish team as his Wasps side is paired with this year's beaten finalists Perpignan as well as the merged Bridgend/Pontypridd side and Calvisano of Italy.

Edinburgh and Leeds have been drawn together in Pool 2 against Stade Francais or Toulouse plus the merged Neath/Swansea team.
