A Co Westmeath man was remanded in custody at Daingean District Court, Co Offaly, yesterday on a double murder charge. Mr Seamus Dunne (41), Tevrin, Mullingar, was charged with the murders of Vincent and Mary Cully at Tevrin on November 8th, 1997. He was also charged with having a double-barrel shotgun with intent to endanger life. Following the service of a book of evidence, he was remanded in custody to Mullingar court next Friday by Judge John F. Neilan.
