Racing:  Johnny Murtagh's golden summer continued as he partnered Yellowstone to victory in the Group Three Gordon Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.

Fresh from big-race victories on Peeping Fawn, Simply Perfect and Dylan Thomas, Murtagh was seen to great effect once more on the Aidan O'Brien-trained colt.

Set some very stiff tasks this season, the son of Rock Of Gibraltar ran a stormer in the Eclipse on his last start and was sent off the 5-2 joint-favourite along with Derby third Aqaleem.

Yellowstone was always handy and made a bid for home two furlongs out, while Richard Hills was short of room on his chief market rival.

But even when he got in the clear, Aqaleem could never quite get on terms and was a neck down at the line. Raincoat was a further three-quarters of a length away in third.

Championship Point came with an impressive late run to claim the Bank of Scotland Investment Service Stakes.

Mick Channon's runner was saddled with top weight after winning at Royal Ascot last time and was sent off an 8-1 chance to follow up.

Darryll Holland was content to settle towards the rear of the field early on as Formaz and Speedy Sam set the early gallop, but Lake Poet looked a likely winner as he set sail for home two furlongs out.

However, Championship Point was just getting into top gear down the outside and he flew in the final half-furlong to pass Lake Poet and win by a comfortable three-quarters of a length.

Lake Poet took the runner-up spot, with Peruvian Prince in third.
