"Health is a big issue for me - I've just come from hospital in Galway. There's a terrible lot of unrest among healthcare staff, and I have a lot of sympathy for the nurses in their demands.Traffic is also a problem, and I'm concerned about social issues and activities for young people. There's an awful lot of vandalism. Youngsters don't have enough to do and are causing needless damage like pulling down trees out of boredom.
"I'm not a real Bertie man at all, but I think that the media focus on his financial affairs should be at another time. Not at a general election, when we have to make the politicians look at the big issues, and it is our only chance."
