League Cup round-up:Samir Nasri scored two penalties in extra-time as Arsenal knocked arch-rivals Tottenham out of the League Cup with a 4-1 victory at White Hart Lane. Teenager Henri Lansbury swept the visitors ahead from close range after 15 minutes.

Doyle was introduced at the start of extra-time and the home side needed only two minutes to move ahead. Doyle made a powerful break into the County area before squaring the ball across the box to Stephen Fletcher who made no mistake.
Wolves ‘keeper Wayne Hennessey then tipped over a Kevin Smith drive but Doyle effectively sealed the tie just before half-time in extra-time. Doyle again teed up Fletcher whose shot was parried by Burch before the Republic Of Ireland striker converted the rebound.
Kevin Smith scored a late consolation for County when he headed in Craig Westcarr’s cross. Guedioura shot wide when it looked easier to score before Doyle made it 4-2 in the final minute from 12 yards out.
Everton'searly-season woes continued against Brentfordat Griffin Park as they were beaten 4-3 in a penalty shoot-out by the League One strugglers after a 1-1 draw. Jermaine Beckford and Phil Jagielka failed from 12 yards for David Moyes' men.
