New charges were brought yesterday against five Chinese men charged in connection with a Garda raid on a Dublin city-centre apartment last week.
Three of the men had been charged with robbery, a fourth with assault, false imprisonment and robbery, and a fifth man with failing to turn up in court on a breach of the peace charge.
Four of the men were charged yesterday with failing to notify the authorities of changing their address, in accordance with the Aliens Act, while the fifth faced a new charge of assault.
All five were remanded by Judge Miriam Malone to appear in Cloverhill District Court next Thursday.
