A British airline is to launch flights from Dublin to India, it was confirmed today.
BMI, formerly known as British Midland, said its four-times-weekly service to Mumbai (formerly Bombay), via London Heathrow, would begin in May.
Chief executive Nigel Turner said the company was hopeful of securing permission to operate further flights to India from the Civil Aviation Authority.
