Racing:Leading airport retailers Dubai Duty Free have announced a three-year extension to their sponsorship of the Irish Derby at the Curragh. The deal will run until 2015, with the option for a further two years.
The 2015 running with be the 150th renewal of the Group One showpiece, won last year by the Aidan O’Brien trained, Treasure Beach. This year’s Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby will be staged for the first time as an evening race, with a scheduled start time of 7.40pm on Saturday, June 30th.

“We are delighted to extend our sponsorship for a further three years, with an option for an additional two, and look forward to working with the Curragh to grow this event even further.”
